Smoke, Wind & Fire Master Series Barbeque Competition in Lethbridge
Lethbridge & District Exhibition’s newest signature event in partnership with Hickory Street, Smoke, Wind & Fire is a Master Series Barbeque competition sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS). The competition features prizes awarded in the four traditional categories (Chicken, Ribs, Pork, Beef Brisket).
In addition we will be hosting a Backyard Amateur Competition on the Saturday. This event will feature two categories (Chicken and Ribs).
Please familiarize yourself with the KCBS competition rules prior to applying. A barbeque team information guide will be made available for further reference.
Smoke, Wind & Fire is a two-day festival on July 10-11, 2021. Competitors can arrive on-site for set-up on Friday evening or early Saturday morning and will remain on-site until after the awards ceremony on Sunday.
While Smoke, Wind & Fire is a barbeque competition first, we invite members of the general public to attend to learning more about competition barbeque. Teams are encouraged to interact with guests in a friendly manner.
Whether you believe you are a Pit-master extraordinaire or if just like good barbeque, Smoke, Wind & Fire is a great opportunity to have fun and meet great like-minded people while smoking delicious meat!
Judge applications are now being accepted for Smoke, Wind & Fire! Judges will be required for the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) competition taking place on July 11, 2021. Apply now.
Only KCBS-qualified Certified Barbeque Judges and Table Captains may participate in KCBS-sanctioned competitions worldwide, including Smoke, Wind & Fire.
